Error Correction Research

https://sites.google.com/view/eduaids/الرئيسية "Introduction to Error Correction in Written English" “Errors” in written language is a vague concept because it might mean many things. The word "error" means in the dictionary;  a: an act or condition of ignorant or imprudent deviation from a code of behavior. b: an act involving an unintentional deviation from truth or accuracy. c: an act that through ignorance, deficiency, or accident departs from or fails to achieve what should be done Here I am concerned only with deviations from the standard use of English as used by students. The aim of this research is to help learners avoid all written mistakes including grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and punctuation mistakes…etc. I will explain a list of mistakes made in writing, to the degree that the student can avoid these standard deviations. Through my two experiments I discovered that the errors listed below comprise at least 90% of the errors they encounter. Mo...

There is no hope of doing perfect research

For more about my work, visit my website:   https://sites.google.com/view/eduaids/الرئيسية Once upon the time there was a crazy man who thought that he could fly just like birds, so he attempted to fly by using set of wings that contributed to his death. That man was Abbas Ibn Fernas. If after research and experiment we discover that trying to fly will contribute to death, then the Wright brothers must not do their research and attempt to fly. Flying was a crazy idea that would definitely lead to death. “There is no hope of doing perfect research”, a statement that was being said by Griffiths in 1998 to tell that there’s no hope in doing a perfect research since the research is done by a human being. It’s known that a human being is never perfect because perfection is a characteristic that is granted only to God. Anything that is done by a human won’t be perfect 100% and the same is applied for research if done or dominated by a human being. But in order to understan...

Hope is the Thing with Feathers September 17, 2020 For more about my work, visit my website:   https://sites.google.com/view/eduaids/الرئيسية Copyright © 2016 by Ghada M. Alsaket  Inspired from Emily Dickenson A rapturous jump by one of the successful graduates shook the stage cheerfully. He threw his graduation cap high after receiving his excellence certificate. All the people around him looked at him proudly as if he did the impossible. Scrutinizing the man, I realized that he really did the impossible. He had white hair and his face was full of wrinkles. At least he is in his late sixties. At that point a question arose in my mind: can the person really keep learning even after exceeding his sixties? This great jump was the answer. Yes, the human can keep learning all his life. The man can also succeed with excellence just like what this man has did. Yes. This man was old in face but young in heart and mind. He had hope. Hope with hard work and determination were the ...
